Tall Cabinets

Tall (Floor to Ceiling) type cabinets refer to cabinetry that sits on the floor (usually on a kick board), and extends past the height of the benchtop, usually to just under the ceiling height,

Tall cupboards typically include pantries, wall oven towers, walk-in diagonal cabinets, broom cabinets, wardrobe cupboards (just to name a few).

General Information:

When designing your room, you typically make the tall cupboards all the same height, (i.e. wall oven cabinet is the same height as the pantry cabinet and the broom cabinet).

To work out the depth of a tall cabinet - it is normally 600mm or 580mm deep depending on choice. At 600mm it normally brings it out flush with the front of the bench top, whereas at 580mm deep, it keeps all the base and tall cabinets in line. Note: the depth of the tall cabinet includes the thickness of the door, as this makes the whole process simple.

TIP: You can use the 'Special Request' box to customise your tall cupboard, for Example: Please include double hanging rails.
