Laminate is the most cost effective and durable surface for Doors, Drawer Fronts and Panels in the market today. It is heat and moisture resistant, and is very durable due to the ABS Edging around the edge of the Doors and Drawer Fronts. It's plain and un-cluttered look makes it a very popular choice for today's trend toward a more minimalistic cabinetry design, featuring lots of flat surfaces and square edges.

The thickness is typically 16mm but can also be 18mm (note: some colours are only available in 18mm). The coloured laminate covers both faces with the core substrate being a MR MDF (Moisture Resistant Medium Density Fibreboard). The edges are sealed with a 1mm ABS Impact resistant, colour matched edging.
