Design
The design affects the cost - the larger, more detailed designs often lead to a higher cabinetry cost. Occasionally you may need to re-design because it hasn’t met your budgeted allowance (as it is not achievable), or you may need to re-visit your budget with the view to increasing it.
You can easily save thousands of dollars without doing anything to the design, and this simply comes down to the material choice. Whilst the design remains the same, there is a big cost difference between some materials, so you will need to balance the ‘cost versus look’ to find a happy medium. In some cases, the ‘look’ that you want is a 'must have', so you will need to disregard the cost consideration, or alternatively, the cost consideration out weighs the ‘look’ and therefore you are prepared to change the ‘look’ to save money.
